This copy is a first or very early printing of this book. First printed in 1887 Ward Lock made subsequent unaltered printings up to around 1912, all with no indication of date, but most of these came in very much plainer bindings
An extremely well preserved near FINE clean and tight copy (thin sliver of very slight creasing to spine ends, minute speck of shelf rub to cover corner tips, covers slightly dusty and with a few tiny specks of soil to the front cover, page-block edges dusty)
